On February 8, 2009, Rihanna's scheduled performance at the 2009 Grammy Awards was canceled. [1] Reports later surfaced regarding an alleged alteraction with her boyfriend, singer Chris Brown. Brown has been arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats. [2]

A picture obtained by TMZ [3] apparently reveals Rihanna's facial injuries reportedly inflicted by her boyfriend Chris Brown. The awful image would appear to confirm some rumors about the injuries. [4]
