My first picture of the Petronas Twin Towers

Burj Dubai is the tallest man-made structure ever built. The Petronas Twin Towers (also known as the Petronas Towers or just Twin Towers), in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia are twin towers and were the world's tallest buildings, before being surpassed by Taipei 101.

Last April 24 (2009) on our 10th wedding anniversary I left Manila for Kuala Lumpur for a business trip (book buying). After our dinner date in Aristocrat (Robinson Place in Malate a day before), I flew by 5PM to KL and took my first picture of the Petronas Twin Towers by 10:30PM.

On the third day (April 26) I got a closer picture of PTT. PTT were constructed with 88 floors, 3 times of the EGI Taft Tower's height, the condo where I lived in Manila.

Pastor: Rev'd Don Attenborough (of Ashtead Baptist Church) explained Jesus' second temptation which was to "jump from the pinnacle of the temple in Jerusalem where He would be rescued by angels. The temple pinnacle was about 150’ high! What an entrance that would have been! The temptation was to use his miraculous powers to win the crowd's acceptance and loyalty by a dramatic beginning to his ministry. He would appear suddenly falling from the sky and landing unhurt in front of the priests and people. This was not God’s way! God must never be tested!"

It's tempting to brag but it's best to be humble. This should be a celebration of humanities' creative spirit, a celebration of our 10th wedding anniversary!
