• November 2, 2006: Br Rafael S. Donato, FSC joined the Lord. May Br Rafe’s heart be like Him. AMEN.
• June 21, 2009: Br Cecilio M. Hojilla FSC, also joins the Lord. May Br Ceci’s heart be like Him. AMEN.

Brother Ceci M Hojilla FSC (Febuary 8, 1944 - June 21, 2009). Br Ceci died at the age of 65 due to heart attack, and was dead on arrival at hospital. He will surely be missed and he will also be remembered as holy-funny brother!

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Br. Ceci Hojilla FSC. His body was discovered in his room noontime last June 21, 2009. Doctors have identified cause of death as cardiac arrest.
Br. Ceci liked to call himself a multiplicataeur, a storyteller and animator. He was a teacher, mentor, kuya, and Brother to countless young people. His Tour of Ministry is as follows:

1977 - 1980: Religion Teacher, De La Salle Lipa
1980 - 1984: Scholasticate National Vocation Director
1984 - 1987: Religion Teacher and Campus Ministry, St. Joseph High School
1987 - 1990: DLSU COSCA Director, De La Salle University
1991 - 1993: Campus Ministry, De La Salle Zobel
1994 - 1996: Institutional Campus Ministry, ICC – La Salle
1996 - 1999: District Animation Team, La Salle Provincialate
1999 - 2001: Residencia Member, Lasallian Animation and Formation Team
2001 - 2003: Staff, Lasallian Formation Center
2003 - 2009: Animator, De La Salle Zobel

Br. Ceci also served De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde as a facilitator of Lasallian modules for faculty and students, and was involved in the sports program as an adviser to student-athletes and coaches. Working with interpreters, he also taught theology classes in SDEAS.
