Karis, Grace, Anthony. . .

The Karis Retreat House Tagaytay

This is the the ground surrounding The Karis Retreat House, born out of an awareness of God's love and graciousness (Karis – The Greek word for “grace”). You will see this view from the reception/lobby area.

It's me! Saint Toni. . .

Below are the series of pictures of Saint Anthony de Padua. I immediately took them upon arrival in the venue as I went inside the chapel.

Anthony was born on the Feast of the Assumption, August 15 1195, in Lisbon, Portugal. Father Anthony was strongly attracted to the simple Gospel lifestyle of the Franciscan friars and eventually joined the Franciscan order. Saint Anthony died on 13 June 1231 at the age of 36. St. Anthony loved children, when he died, it is said that the children cried in the streets.
