Today Mariah Faith is born!

A solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the Sun and the Earth
so that the Sun is fully or partially covered.

This is a Partial Solar Eclipse recorded yesterday
by Dr. Jose Fadul, a co teacher in CSB.

The solar eclipse yesterday ( 22 July 2009) is considered the longest total solar eclipse during the 21st century. for it lasted a maximum of 6 minutes and 39 seconds off the coast of Southeast Asia.

Superstition has always haunted the moment when Earth, Moon and Sun are perfectly aligned. The daytime extinction of the Sun, the source of all life, is associated with war, famine, flood and the death or birth of ruler/s.

Today Mariah Faith is born! ( 23 July 2009)
