Today September 8 is the birthday of Mother Mary.
It is the feast day of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of our Lord Jesus.
The feast celebrating Mary's Immaculate Conception, December 8, was set to correspond to nine months before Mary's birth. Her birth, Birthgiver of God, announced joy to the whole world. From her came the Sun of Justice, Christ our God.
Sacred Scripture does not record Mary's birth. The earliest known writing regarding Mary's birth is found in the Protoevangelium of James (5:2), which is an apocryphal writing from the late second century. What matters is not the historicity of the account, but the significance of Mary's and of every person's birth.
I am forever thankful for she has been there to listen to me and to lift up my spirit! I thank you for everything, for Mary Rose, Mariah and for the Faith!
May you continue to intercede for us.
Pray for us and guide us in our life.
May my heart be like your Son Jesus and yours! AMEN!
