Solar Eclipse, call it superstition or mere coincidence!?

I wrote a blog about the solar eclipse last 22 July 2009 which is considered the longest total solar eclipse during the 21st century. for it lasted a maximum of 6 minutes and 39 seconds off the coast of Southeast Asia.

Superstition has always haunted the moment when Earth, Moon and Sun are perfectly aligned. The daytime extinction of the Sun, the source of all life, is associated with war, famine, flood and the death or birth of ruler/s.

But how will you explain these series of events?! Call it superstition or mere coincidence!?

September 23, 2009: The worst dust storm in decades swept across eastern Australia, blanketing Sydney and snarling transport as freak conditions also brought earthquakes, giant hailstones and even a tornado.

September 26, 2009: A massive flood hit in Manila due to typhoon Ondoy. It was said to be worst than the flood in 1967.

September 29, 2009: Tsunami strikes Samoa after massive earthquake.

September 30, 2009: A powerful earthquake rocked western Indonesia.

Is it due to Solar Eclipse? Will you call it superstition or mere coincidence!?
